This is the final art for the NEW contest at where you have to draw a Doujinshi cover.

My "pairing" of choice is Slade and Raven because I love dwelving into the hateful relationship these two develop in the 4th season. I loved it in Prophecy when she opened up about a gagillion cans of whoop ass on Slade. And in the end all he says is "Look who's afraid of you". Thats cold... and thats why I love Slade.

So while working on it I devised the idea of what the story is about in my head. It took a some what Buffy Season 6/Angel Season 4 type of turn. My fandoms are getting crossed! Oh No! lol. So anywho I'll probably write the story up and enter that for the Writings on the Wall contest as well.

Sing a song of six pence
A pocket full of rye

Isnt that a funny dish to set before the king.

Ah who am I kidding, the king would never get the pie because Cyborg would eat it first! PIE!!!

Total time spent on this piece is 14 hours with the use of 5 (purchased) stock photos from [link] , a painstaking amount of time to get the moon right (made it from scratch) and a little time making the neon sign (which the typed text actually reads out to Necrid RIP, necrid is the family of birds that the Raven belongs to. hahaha I feel smart).
