The Worst In Me -Part 1- FEAR

This is a series of pieces starring Raven and Slade (yay first time ever drawing Slade). Slade in the 4th season was hardcore bad ass! I could just eat him up, but that's called canniblism and is frowned upon in most cultures. So anywho, this series focues on how Slade tends to bring out the WORST emotions in Raven. Each piece will be in a different style, each style will be attuned to the emotion it depicts.

This is a 5 part series. It starts with FEAR and ends in HATRED (no Yoda jokes please) Each piece progressing to the final 6th piece Darkness.

This particular piece went through a rigorous process to get its current effect. It was drawing and shaded in my little sketch journal, then further shading and a jazzed up clouded atmosphere was added in photoshop. After which point I pulled it into Illustrator CS2 to vectorize it. After it was vectorized I pulled it back into Photoshop. played with the gausion blur and watercolour filters until I got the desired effect and viola! Creepy scene!

I'm quite happy with this piece considering how this is my first time with Slade... and it gave me an excuse to listen to that voice over and over again... love his voice.
